hat is your most notable project, deal or transac- tion? Currently our Hampton Park Project, a 500,000 s/f mixed use project in Prince George’s County, MD (DC Metro) which is also a Quali- fied Opportunity Zone project. As head of marketing for ARCTRUST, social media has become a big part of how we market ourselves to different stakeholders of our business, be it developers, tenants, part- ners, etc. Technology has made the world move much faster and we do not want to get caught left behind. We have LinkedIn, Twitter and Face- book accounts and are just now introducing an Instragram account to our social media platform. tion? Social media continues to have a growing impact on how we reach the stakeholders of our business, be it developers, tenants, partners, brokers or other real estate profes- sionals. Dealing with the COVID environment further highlights the importance of using technology and social media to stay connected and find new business. My goal for the coming 12 months is to not just use social media but keep finding ways to stand out among the flood of posts and email blasts we all receive ev ry day. I think our company is unique in the way we approach investing in real estate and structuring our deals. There is no reason our online presence should not match the creativity in our work. What I did not know then, and what I think many people do not often realize, is how creative a business real estate can be. Whether you are structuring an acquisition or developing a ground up project, there are so many fascinating ways to “create” a deal and find success. Seeing this kind of enthusiasm from the people I work with and learned the business from is significant part of what has driven me to be in this industry.
