transaction? One of my most noticeable transactions was brokering the sale of two multifamily portfolios in Passaic and Paterson totaling over 500 residential units. Another one would be successfully completing the sale of 134 residential units in Bergen County in 2018 and recently reselling that same portfolio in 2020. How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? I contrib - ute to Kislak and the real estate community by being extremely active and up to date in the sale of investment properties in north jersey. This is a business of information and it’s very important to have accurate and up-to-date information. Who or what has been the strongest influence in your career? The strongest influences in my career have been my mother and my father, Rob Holland our president, and all my mentors I’ve had throughout the years. I’ve learned the ground works of business from my father, the compassion and “fol - low your heart” attitude from my mom, and Rob Holland has taught me how to be a great broker. It’s also very important to have mentors who have done what you want to do so you can bounce ideas off of them and get their advice on aspects of business and life. What inspiring word of advice would you give to a young executive graduating from college today? The words of advice I would give to someone out of school going into the workplace would be follow your passions. One can never be successful if they don’t enjoy what they do. I think that is paramount in life. Do things that make you happy and spend time with people you love, even if it means working less.

How do you contribute to your company and / or the industry? I’m an active team-player. Through co- brokering with the 30 other salespeople in our office, it has ensured the highest and best prices on listings. I do use publications and the internet to sometimes advertise listings, guarantee - ing extended exposure, but I find that I have the most success with my personal career relationships. MAREJ
