B eograd se svake go- dine u decembru po- novo budi, obasjan svetlima, muzikom i uzbudljivim iščeki- vanjem Nove godine. Trg u cen- tru grada, velika bina ispred mo- numentalnog zdanja Skupštine Srbije i spektakularni vatromet nad Beogradom na vodi posta- ju scenografije za najlepše novo- godišnje priče. Naravno, nisu sa- mo muzika i slavlje ono što čini ovu noć posebnom. Tu je pre sve- ga puls prestonice, energija ljudi, ples pod otvorenim nebom, smeh i topla emocija koja se širi među ljudima. Sve dobri razlozi zašto je Nova godina na ulicama Beograda nezaboravno iskustvo. Ipak, to ne znači da celu noć treba da provedete napolju. Re- cimo, Beograd na vodi, jedan od najprestižnijih delova grada, nudi ekskluzivne prostore za doček No- ve godine. Naravno, i ostali pre- stonički restorani se pretvaraju u oaze zabave, sa bogatim jelovni- cima i vrhunskom muzikom. Tu je čuvena Skadarlija, ali i mnogi drugi koji pružaju priliku da uži- vate uz živu muziku i tradicional- ne srpske specijalitete. A tu su i splavovi sa svojim je- dinstvenim šarmom i atmosferom jer je Beograd i u svako drugo do- ba poznat po uzbudljivoj noćnoj sceni. Ipak, za Novu godinu eufo- rija dostiže vrhunac. Klubovi će vas provesti kroz noć do samog svitanja uz nezaboravnu atmosfe- ru širom grada i raznovrsne mu- zičke žanrove – od elektronske muzike do densa. Zato slavite u Beogradu!
B elgrade reawakens every year in Decem- ber, illuminated with lights, music and ex- citing anticipation of the arrival of the New Year. The city centre’s Republic Square, the great stage erected in front of the monumental building of the Ser- bian National Assembly or the spectacular fireworks display in the sky above the Belgrade Wa- terfront provide the backdrop for the most beautiful stories of the New Year. Of course, music and celebrations aren’t the only things that make this night special. That special quality is primarily pro- vided by the pulse of the capital, the energy of the people, dancing under an open sky, laughter and warm emotions spreading among the people. These are all good rea- sons why spending New Year’s Eve on the streets of Belgrade is an un- forgettable experience. Still, this doesn’t mean that you should spend all night outdoors. For example, the Belgrade Water- front neighbourhood, as one of the city’s most prestigious quarters, offers exclusive venues for New Year’s Eve. Of course, the capital’s countless other restaurants are al- so turned into oases of fun, with rich menus and top music. There are those of the famous Skadarlija Bohemian Quarter, but also many others that offer the opportunity to enjoy live music and tradition- al Serbian specialities. And there are also the fa- mous ‘splav’ raft venues, with their unique charm and atmosphere, be- cause Belgrade is also known for its exciting nightlife scene year-round. Nonetheless, the euphoria does reach a crescendo for the New Year. The clubs will carry you through the night right until dawn, with an un- forgettable atmosphere throughout the city and various genres of mu- sic on offer – from electronic mu- sic to dance. That’s why you should celebrate in Belgrade!

Following the record vis- itor numbers and great suc- cess of last year’s edition, one of the most attractive parts of the city will be trans- formed into a magical holiday season park that will open its doors to all on 8 th Decem- ber! The magical Winter Fairy Tale will run until 8 th January and will include numerous programmes catering to all tastes and age groups.
