Danielle Chamberlain, CLTP reigns as 2018-2019 president PLTA holds 2018-2019 Board induction and awards at the 97th Annual Convention K given an appreciation award for his outstanding leadership and service as the 2017 - 2018 President.
ING OF PRUSSIA, PA — The Pennsylva- nia Land Title Asso- ciation (PLTA) held its annual convention at he the Wyndham Gettysburg in early June. The event provided an opportunity to introduce its new officers, and present special awards to those who have made outstand- ing contributions to the title industry in Pennsylvania. Taking the reigns as the 2018-2019 president of the PLTA is Danielle Chamber- lain, CLTP an assistant VP and agency representative with Fidelity National Title Insurance Company in Blue Bell. In her acceptance speech, Chamberlains said, "I know it has been a challenging time for all of us, especially our agents as they try to adapt to the many changes facing us. I encourage you all to continue the profes- sionalism you always display when changes are thrown at you – and to chart your own course in the coming year." Joining Chamberlain as PLTA Officers for the 2018- 2019 term are Charles No- wicki, CLTP, NTP , a partner in World Wide Land Trans- fer, Inc. in Trevose as VP, Lisa McEntee, Esq., CLTP, senior underwriting counsel for First American Title Insurance Company in Berwyn as Trea- surer, and Todd Rowe, Esq. , VP, underwriting counsel for Fidelity National Title Insur- ance Company as incoming Secretary. The board was sworn in by ALTA Board of Governors rep- resentative William Burding, Jr., NTP at the associations’ President’s Reception &Honors Banquet. Additional honorees at the event include: two committee chairs who completed their terms: Sue Swick, Esq., CLTP, co-chair of the Membership Committee and Todd Rowe, Esq., previous chair of the Title Issues & Records Committee. The association also pre- sented Honorary Memberships to past presidents: Michael J. Fromhold, Esq., CLTP (president 1992) and Herbert R. Walton, CLTP (president 1987). In addition, eight individu- als received their Professional Designation certificates with six professionals receiving their Associate Land Title Profes- sional (ALTP) designation: Maureen Ambler, ALTP of

Also, at the convention, the Pennsylvania Land Title In- stitute, the educational arm of PLTA, presented a special award to William Rice, III . He is the first recipient of the newly created "Rice Award for Excellence in Education Award" which is named in his honor in recognition of his many contri- butions to the institute and to commemorate the 40th anniver- sary of the Pennsylvania Land Title Institute.
