Thank you to all our community members and partners who generously contributed and helped make our Hug in a Mug project a success for the 3rd year! Our community donated mugs and small items which are then delivered to isolated older adults throughout the month of February. This project allows Senior Companion volunteers to reach many older adults who do not have a Senior Companion assigned to them. The generosity of many anonymous donors and some known contributors help Senior Companions carry out this service project in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his dream of inclusion and acceptance for all. We value and care about the elders in our community and with everyone’s support, Senior Companion volunteers were able to deliver these tokens of appreciation on behalf of a loving community of supporters. Please follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to see more pictures. Special thanks to: Crafting Kind Kids, Jewish Family and Children Services, Penzeys Spices, & Southwest Solutions

If you would like to serve your community and be a lifeline to homebound older adults, please call (520) 305-3453 to learn more about becoming a Senior Companion Volunteer!
