„Jadna stvorenja“, Jorgos Lantimos Dobitnik „Zlatnog lava“ u Veneciji, film „Jadna stvorenja“ redi- telja Jorgosa Lantimosa jedan je od favorita festivalske publi- ke. Dugoočekivani film producentkinje Eme Stoun donosi ne- verovatnu priču o fantastičnom napretku mlade žene, Bele Bakster (Stoun), koju briljantni naučnik dr Godvin Bakster (Vi- ljem Defo) ponovo vraća u život. Pod Baksterovom zaštitom, Bela je željna učenja. Međutim, zbog žudnje za svetom koji joj nedostaje, ona beži sa Dankanom Vederbernom (Mark Rafa- lo), uglađenim i razvratnim advokatom, u vrtoglavu avantu- ru širom sveta. Oslobođena predrasuda svog vremena, Bela postaje nepokolebljiva u svojoj nameri da se zalaže za jedna- kost i slobodu. Poor Things, Yorgos Lanthimos Winner of the Venice Film Festival’s Golden Lion, the Gior- gos Lanthimos directed film Poor Things has proven to be among the favourites of festival audiences. The long-await- ed film of producer Emma Stone brings the incredible story of the fantastical evolution of a young woman called Bella Baxter (Stone), who is brought back to life by brilliant scientist Dr God- win Baxter (Willem Dafoe). Under Baxter’s guardianship, Bel- la is eager to learn. However, her longing for the world that she misses prompts her to run away with one Duncan Wedderburn (Mark Ruffalo), a smooth and debauched lawyer, and embark on a whirlwind adventure around the world. Freed from the prejudices of her time, Bella becomes unwavering in her deter- mination to demand equality and liberation.

FAF će ponovo predstaviti filmska ostvarenja novih, originalnih, relevantnih dela i ličnih glasova evropske i svetske kinematografije. Centralne programske celine Festivala autorskog fil- ma čine takmičarski i glavni program, dok će selekci- je „Hrabri Balkan“, „Bande à part“, „Sirovo“ i „Mreža festivala Jadranske regije“ predstaviti nove tokove u autorskom filmu. „Savršeni dani“, Vim Venders

Novo ostvarenje Vima Vendersa predstav- lja jedno dirljivo, poetsko razmatranje o pronalaženju lepote u svakodnevnom sve- tu oko nas. Radnja filma prati Hirajamu, koji izgleda da je potpuno zadovoljan svo- jim jednostavnim životom čistača toaleta u Tokiju. Izvan svoje veoma strukturirane svakodnevne rutine uživa u strasti prema muzici i knjigama. Niz neočekivanih su- sreta postepeno otkriva sve više o njego- voj prošlosti. Perfect Days, Wim Wenders Wim Wenders’ latest work is a moving and poetic reflection on the finding of beauty in the everyday world around us. The plot follows Hirayama, who seems completely content with his simple life as a toilet cleaner in Tokyo. Beyond his highly structured daily routine, he indulges in his passion for music and books. A series of unexpected encounters gradually reveal more about his past.

„Izgubljena zemlja“, Vladimir Perišić Film koji će svečano otvoriti festival (24. novembar), „Izgu- bljena zemlja“ reditelja Vladimira Perišića, prikazuje Srbiju 1996. godine, tokom studentskih demonstracija. Radnja pra- ti priču mladog Stefana koji prolazi kroz sopstvenu revoluciju, suočen sa činjenicom da je njegova majka portparolka i sau- česnica korumpirane vlasti protiv koje ustaju njegovi prijatelji. „Izgubljena zemlja“ premijerno je prikazana na ovogodišnjem Filmskom festivalu u Kanu, na kome je debitant Jovan Ginić dobio nagradu „Otkrovenje“ za najboljeg mladog glumca. Na nedavno završenom „Sarajevo Film Festivalu“ Ginić je osvojio nagradu „Srce Sarajeva“ za najboljeg glumca.

Lost Country, Vladimir Perišić The film that will formally open the festival (24 th Novem- ber), Vladimir Perišić’s Lost Country portrays the Serbia of 1996, during the student protests. The plot follows the sto- ry of the young Stefan, who is going through a revolution of his own, confronted by the fact that his mother is a spokes- person and accomplice of the corrupt government that his friends are rising up against. Lost Country had its premiere screening at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, where debu- tant Jovan Ginić won the Rising Star Award for best young actor. Ginić also won the Heart of Sarajevo Award for best actor at the recent Sarajevo Film Festival.
