ANNUAL MEETING EVENTS
Attendees at the Western Growers Annual Meeting were involved in several key industry workshops and networking events. • The Board of Directors Annual Meeting discussed the pressing issues facing the leaders of the fresh produce industry. • Featured Sessions included: When Family Farms Give Way to Outsiders, The Promises & Challenges of New Breeding Technologies and AgSharks ® where start-up companies pitched for investment funds from our Platinum Sponsor S2G Ventures. • Premier Keynote Speakers included Jennifer Sey, Admiral William McRaven, and Karl Rove. • A plethora of networking activities including the Welcome Reception, Board of Directors’ breakfast, Diamond Breakfast, VIP Sponsor Reception, the Party with the Partners – Rat Pack Edition, WGAM Give Back Event, the PAC Luncheon, Chair’s Luncheon, Award of Honor Reception, Award of Honor Dinner Gala and the Annual Meeting Golf Tournament.
