ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Rhem Rick N. Corpuz He is a registered criminologist with 17 years of experience in academia, including roles as an associate professor, research coordinator, program head, and dean. He is an accreditor for PAASCU, and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Criminology and Methods of Teaching , along with a Ph.D. in Criminology. Dr. Corpuz is the regional governor of the Professional Criminologists Association in Region 3, a life member of the Asian Criminology Society, and a founding member of the Fingerprint Identification Society of the Philippines. He has authored five criminology books and 80 peer-reviewed articles. He also placed second in the 2008 Criminology Licensure Examination. Jezreel B. Vicente He is a registered criminologist and esteemed educator, and he currently serves as the dean of the Graduate School at the Philippine College of Criminology. Formerly, he held the position of dean at the College of Criminal Justice Education within the same institution. With a bachelor’s degree from PLT College and master’s and doctoral degrees in criminology from the University of Baguio and the Philippine College of Criminology, respectively, Dr. Vicente brings over 20 years of rich experience in academia. He holds key roles, including membership on the board of directors of the Philippine Criminalistics Society, and has authored publications spanning the diverse subdisciplines of criminology.
