ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Atty. Alphecca B. Adolfo-Madrid, CPA
Atty. Alphecca B. Adolfo-Madrid, CPA is a certified public accountant and a lawyer with a strong background in anti-money laundering and taxation laws. She finished her Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at the University of the Philippines Visayas-Tacloban and her Bachelor of Laws at the Arellano University School of Law Manila. She is currently taking up Master of Law at the University of the Philippines College of Law. In 2006 to 2009, she served as a tax auditor at the SGV and Co. (a member of Ernst and Young Global), and in 2010, she started working as a bank officer in the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, a position she held for eight years. In 2018, she transferred to the Anti-Money Laundering Council Secretariat. Since 2021, Atty. Alphecca has been working as a consultant for the Asian Development Bank (ADB). Aside from being a CPA lawyer, Atty. Alphecca is also a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist. Atty. Alphecca is currently teaching Taxation 2 at the Adamson University College of Law.
Atty. Ivn Marj M. Nopuente
Atty. Ivn Maj M. Nopuente is currently the associate Dean (Acting Dean) of St. Dominic Savio College-School of Law, and has been teaching taxation law, among other subjects, in said school for two years. He is also currently practices taxation, commercial, criminal, and civil laws. Atty. Nopuente acquired his Juris Doctor from the University of Perpetual Help-System DALTA. He is also a certified compliance officer, licensed real estate broker, PDRCI-trained commercial arbitrator, TUV RHeinland-trained data protection officer, and a former prosecution attorney from the Department of Justice. He previously taught in the University of the City of Caloocan-College of Law and Collegio de San Juan de Letran-Legal Management Department.
