Organizational Development
Organizations aim to respond effectively to evolving market trends and technological advances. To attain this objective, firms must adopt strategies to ensure successful transformation and adjust to any disruptions that may arise. One effective approach to guiding organizational transition is through organizational development. This textbook on Organizational Development (OD) intends to acquaint students and practitioners with the various methods that organizations employ to go the extra mile in achieving excellence. It provides a roadmap for organizational leaders on how to adapt to changes. The textbook details all the core OD processes involved, from entry and design to diagnosis, feedback, problem solving, and evaluating implemented changes. OD differs from other change-related activities as it is systematic, long-term, and holistic in nature.
