History of Mathematics
History of Mathematics is a broad field that examines how mathematical ideas and notions have evolved over the course of human history. It includes the examination of contributions made by both recent mathematicians and ancient cultures. Following the 3R approach— Read, Reflect, and Respond—each lesson is designed for students to read all the information, reflect on their learning, and respond to the knowledge they gain. This textbook will provide readers with a deeper understanding of the history of mathematics and its significance today, whether as a math student, a professional mathematician, or someone interested in the field.
