A Course Module for Teaching Music in the Elementary Schools
This module is designed specifically for aspiring elementary music teachers and those currently teaching who wish to gain more knowledge and discover more creative methods for handling their classes. Aligned with the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Music Curriculum, this module strives to cover a wide array of aspects needed to better equip today’s music teachers. An entire chapter is devoted to reviewing the required musical concepts for teachers who need to refresh their knowledge. Emphasis is placed on experiential learning, creative activities and strategies, expected outcomes, and assessment guides—tools aimed at enriching the classroom experience for both teachers and elementary students.
