ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Ferdinand Bulusan
Dr. Bulusan has a wide range of academic experiences as a licensed professional teacher, author, teacher-trainer, researcher, campus paper adviser, and editor. He is an assistant professor of English and professional education at Batanes State College. He is a review master for the Board Licensure Examination for Teachers at various universities and review centers. He holds degrees in Bachelor of Secondary Education—English (magna cum laude) and Master of Arts in Education—English from Cagayan State University, where he taught English and professional education subjects. He also completed units in Doctor of Philosophy in Rhetoric and Linguistics. As a CHED scholar, he earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Language Education (magna cum laude) at Saint Louis University, Baguio City. In 2018, he received two national awards as one of the Most Outstanding Educator-Writers and Filipino Achievers of the Year. Dr. Raquepo is a professor and lecturer in research, statistics, professional education, educational assessment, and English language subjects. He holds a Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) degree from Northeastern College, Santiago City. Under the UP-MEC grant, he completed his Master of Education in English as a Second Language and submitted a standardized integrative language proficiency test in Communication Arts (English) as a seminar paper. He also earned his Doctor of Philosophy in Education (Research and Evaluation) from UP-Diliman and was awarded Academic Excellence. He is a member of the Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Gamma Mu honor societies. In 1993, he was recognized as the Most Outstanding Faculty of Cagayan State University, where he retired as Professor VI in 2014. He served as the MIS consultant for the Philippines–Australia Agricultural Technology Education (AGRITECT) project. Marcelo Revibes Raquepo Dr. Blanco-Hamada taught at the Philippine Military Academy, where she was a four-time awardee as Academic Instructor of the Year, a two-time awardee of the Award for Teaching Excellence, and a four-time professorial chair holder. In 2003, she emerged in the Top 5 in Metrobank’s search for outstanding teachers in the Philippines. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication (magna cum laude), Master of Arts in Education majoring in English (cum laude), and Doctor of Philosophy in Language Education (cum laude) from Saint Louis University, Baguio City.
