ABOUT THE AUTHOR
She is a former Dean of Student Affairs at a private institution in Quezon City. Her vast teaching experience spans from being a senior high school teacher in Dubai (UAE) and Qatar to serving as an English language coordinator in Singapore and China. She obtained her master’s degree in education from Ateneo de Manila University through the Formation Institute for Religious Educators (FIRE) scholarship program. Currently, she is a senior education program specialist in the Bureau of Curriculum Development, Curriculum Standards Development Division. She serves as the focal person for Mother Tongue-Based Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) and is also an active member of the national technical working group for the annual National Schools Press Conference (NSPC). Concurrently, she is the focal person for the Special Program in Foreign Language (SPFL) [Korean] at the Department of Education Central Office. Anna Maria Patricia V. Santos
ABOUT THE COORDINATOR
Dr. Pawilen earned his Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Education, major in Curriculum Studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He also completed his Master of Education in Curriculum Development and his postdoctoral study on Gifted Education in Science at Ehime University in Japan. He served as an associate professor of Curriculum Studies at UP-Diliman and as a member of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Technical Committee for Educational Leadership and Foundations. Currently, he teaches at the College of Human Ecology (CHE) and is the director of the Office for Institutional Development in Higher Education (OIDHE), UP-Los Baños. Greg Tabios Pawilen
