ABOUT THE AUTHORS

She is a consultant to the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) and the treasurer of its Board of Trustees. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Philippine Association for Teachers of Educational Foundations-United Professionals for the Development and Advancement of Teacher Education (PATEF-UPDATE), Inc. She is a full professor and accreditation coordinator of the College of Graduate Studies and Teacher Education Research at the Philippine Normal University-Manila. Dr. De Lara obtained her post-doctorate in Total Quality Management from the Centro Escolar University-Manila and her Doctor of Education from the Technological University of the Philippines-Manila. She served as an evaluator of the K to 12 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) Curriculum for the Department of Education. She presented and published researches, both local and international. Among the awards she received were Most Outstanding AACCUP Accreditor, Certified Assessor of the Philippine Quality Award, and International Expert in Quality Assurance. Maria Glenda O. De Lara, Ed.D. She handles professional education and English subjects and serves as a cooperating and supervising teacher to college interns and preservice teachers. Among the posts she held were publication moderator, information and communication head, and international linkages head in the University of Rizal System (URS). As a Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate holder, she served as program coordinator for second language learners at URS. As college dean at URS-Pililla Campus, she initiates intervention programs for students and graduates in preparation for the Board Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT). She is also into module and book writing, and her researches were presented in different fora. She extends her service as a speaker in academic trainings for teachers in Rizal. She performs various tasks for teacher education program recognition for internal accreditation and auditing processes of the International Organization for Standardization Quality Management System (ISO QMS) in URS, as well as for Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) accreditation in different state universities and colleges (SUCs).
