ABOUT THE AUTHORS
Elen Joy P. Alata
She is the coordinator for English in the high school unit of St. Scholastica’s College-Manila. She is also a Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) trainer for teachers, a curriculum validator for the Department of Education’s Curriculum for the Gifted, and a textbook writer. She earned her Master in Education major in Curriculum Studies and a Bachelor in Secondary Education (Communication Arts-English) from the University of the Philippines-Diliman. Her research interests include curriculum design, curriculum evaluation, and learner-centered pedagogy. She co-authored A Course Module for Purposive Communication, Building and Enhancing New Literacies Across the Curriculum, A Course Module for Content and Pedagogy for the Mother Tongue, and the STEAM Series (Language) for Kindergarten.
Eigen John T. Ignacio
He is an educator and assistant professor at Mindanao State University, Iligan Campus. He has also been tapped as a curriculum evaluator for the Department of Education’s Curriculum for the Gifted.
