A Course Module for Instructional Technology in Early Childhood Education
Teaching should always be innovative and strategic to engage learners in the instruction designed by the teachers. Involving young children in the learning process, including digital learning, requires teachers to be knowledgeable and skillful in using technology. The gap between the teachers and learners in their technological perspectives compromises effective learning. Hence, teachers should develop strategies and a commitment to exploring new and emerging technologies in teaching. Integration and utilization of technology in the instruction will enable young children to engage actively in the learning process, sustain their interests, and enable them to construct concepts about the content of the lesson. Integrating technology effectively in the educational setting will maximize hands-on learning and enhance the teaching and learning process, particularly in early childhood settings.
