ABOUT THE COORDINATOR
Greg Tabios Pawilen, Ph.D.
He finished his Master of Arts in Education and Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Curriculum Studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman. He also completed his Master of Education in Curriculum Development and did a postdoctoral study on Gifted Education in Science at Ehime University in Japan. As a scholar, he has done numerous research works and published articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He served as a professor of Curriculum Studies at the University of the Philippines-Diliman for nine years. He became a member of CHED’s Technical Committee for Educational Leadership and Foundations for four years. He received various scholarship grants, such as the Mombukagakusho Research Scholarship, JASSO Research Fellowship Grant, and JASSO Student Support Scholarship. He finished his Ph.D. with the ‘Academic Excellence Award’ for getting the highest general weighted average among all the doctoral graduates. He also received the prestigious Pi Gamma Mu Award for Academic Excellence in Social Sciences. He was also a member of the Phi Kappa Phi International Honor Society. Currently, he is a professor of Curriculum Development and Evaluation and Human Development Studies at the University of the Philippines-Los Baños.
