A Course Module for Art Appreciation
This module aims to develop students’ critical thinking skills, which are vital to creativity. Art appreciation, in particular, encourages students to view things from a variety of perspectives. The majority of the arts are extremely complex, with multiple symbolisms. Finding, examining, and considering all these elements take time. This method of observation and analysis teaches art students to perceive and intensely analyze their surroundings. It also enhances their competence, which can then strengthen critical thinking.
