2025 Higher Education Learning Solutions Catalog

A Course Module for The Life, Works, and Writings of Jose Rizal The module aims to answer the following questions: (1) Who is Rizal as a person? (2) Who is Rizal as a hero? (3) Why do we still need to study a person who lived more than 150 years ago? (4) Are the ideas and works of Rizal still relevant today? Like in the previous module, the revised edition is equipped with activities suitable for the current generation. Students can maximize the use of today’s technology, like the internet and AI-generated materials, to make the learning experiences fun yet meaningful. More importantly, the module hopes to reignite the interest of students to study Rizal’s heroism by guiding them in their journey towards finding Rizal’s meaning and function in their own lives. Like Rizal, who made the Philippines his focus in life, it is our fervent endeavor to make the students “Rizal-like” people who can influence and transform the society through their own ways.the module aims to answer the following questions: (1) Who is Rizal as a person? (2) Who is Rizal as a hero? (3) Why do we still need to study a person who lived more than 150 years ago? (4) Are the ideas and works of Rizal still relevant today? As Rizal stated in chapter 7 of El Filibusterismo, when Simoun addresses Basilio, “The greatness of man is not in living before his time…but in understanding its desires, in responding to its needs, and in guiding it on its forward way.” We are very much hoping that you will have a great time using this module.
