I’ve always had an interest in the mechanical side of things and liked working with my hands. I developed a knack for problem-solving, especially when it came to various household issues. I also love connecting with my community, finding solutions, and helping people. I found a great fit in the construction industry in high school. I dug many ditches and learned the tools of the plumbing trade. The work was exciting and demanding, and I was always learning something new. So after high school, I went to trade school to learn plumbing, heating, and cooling. I worked with some great mentors when honing my skills and learning the ins-and-outs of the trade. My uncles worked in the trades, so I learned the meaning of hard work and developed a great work ethic from them too. I initially worked for a couple of different companies, including Brothers Plumbing, developing my skills. As I ventured further into my career, I saw consumers needed a higher level of service than they were getting. Following my entrepreneurial spirit, I started my own small plumbing business in 2002. In 2008–2009, the recession hit us as it did many other companies. To make it through, we focused on maintaining the high-quality services we offer, and through our hard work, perseverance, and the entire staff’s “don’t give up” attitude, we weathered the recession and had lots of success. Our values and staff are the secrets to our success. We interview applicants carefully; it’s not about an individual’s skill set. We look for a positive attitude and willingness to improve. We also want problem solvers. We seem to hire employees who are also gamers because they have a real affinity toward problem-solving, as I do. One thing our employees do well is trenchless sewer replacement — not many companies in the area do this. It’s a noninvasive way to help fix sewer lines, drain lines, and waterlines.

Over the years, we’ve seen our fair share of challenges. We’re a tightknit team, so we consider all of our employees like family. Our newest employee has been with us for four years. In recent years, we’ve also had a couple of our gifted staff members pass away, so the whole company had to come together to support one another. Our values have guided us through the worst of storms. Some of those guiding principles include

integrity and reliability. We stand behind every warranty and guarantee we offer. We

always try to exceed the customer’s expectations by following the motto, “under promise, over deliver.”
