COLOUR SCHEMING (CONT) .
Monotonous colour schemes use variations of one colour, from light to dark and dull to bright.
Neutral tones are low intensity colours that act as a back drop for stronger hues in flooring, furniture, soft furnishings and artwork . A neutral colour scheme is unassuming and generally unoffensive but less likely to achieve a wow factor.

The warm grey X7520A is amid toned colour, it reflects 52% of light and has very little undertones of red. It can be described as a warm grey. The lighter tint W1830B again has a very small amount of red pigment, is an off white and reflects 83% of light.
C2560F is a stone hue and from the yellow green family offering a very slight point of difference to the red based greys to create a quiet unassuming space. These colours in a large scale area will appear very subtle but present an alternative frommagnolia or white.
X3630D has very little colour pigment and is a relatively light colour, it reflects 63% of light. The coral red X6262Z feature colour is shown in a smaller amount. A lighter version of red is pink, on the right hand side a chalky mid tone pink has been used for a fresh romantic finish.
The off white H3730E Looking Glass has a very small amount of green undertone and works tonally with the revitalising J0341L Sea Bright, a mid to dark tone and a deeper shade for a simple cohesive scheme.
This image depicts darker neutrals, a dull duck egg colour, a mushroomand a fawn tint. The light A8630D offers a softer finish than white and is used to highlight the door ways.
