It is termed late onset Dementia in people over 65 (Alzheimer’s Society 2020). Dementia is a progressive condition because over time the symptoms will becomemore severe, but the rate of progression will differ according to the individual. Symptoms of Dementia can include: decline of memory and reasoning, mood changes and reduced communication skills and physical ability. People living with Dementia may find social situations difficult, struggle to find the right word or express their feelings succinctly.
