SEATD RETREAT Cedarhurst Senior Living recently hosted its second annual SEATD (Skill Enhancement And Team Development) retreat in St. Louis. Supported by sponsors including USFOODS and Dining RD, the event began with a lively bowling social, “Striking up Connections.” Almir Sajtovic, President of Cedarhurst Senior Living, opened the training, sharing his own growth journey and emphasizing teamwork. The program included sessions on operational processes, team development, and technology use, featuring insights from Carol Sapp of Dining RD. A highlight was the SEEDYS awards, celebrating dining leaders with honors such as the Survivor Award and Rookie of the Year. The retreat concluded at Stockyards with practical sessions on food safety and processing, followed by a lunch featuring locally processed meats. The event reinforced our commitment to exceeding resident expectations and provided valuable growth opportunities for our team.
