Returns No return of goods will be accepted by Barco without prior authorisation and compliance with our returns procedure. End-users must return any item to the retailer where the item was purchased. Barco will not accept returns from end-users. It is always our aim that you are happy with your purchase however there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item. Please note that goods are not supplied on a trial basis and customers are responsible for verifying the suitability and compatibility of goods before purchasing. These terms do not affect your statutory rights. Returns Credits &Charges Before a return can be processed, you will be asked to confirm your acceptance of any charges or credits associated with the return of that product. The notification from Barco will include: » » Refund/credit of any carriage/postal costs you have incurred, if applicable, at Barco’s discretion. » » Charges to be applied if the fault is not as reported. For example: Damage caused by misuse or mishandling and/or customer order errors. Charges and credits are detailed in our full Returns Policy, at barco.net/terms Arranging a Return Email customerreturns@barco.net or phone 01707 387 940 to report your return. You will be sent a credits/charges notification detailing any associated costs. Once this has been accepted, you will be provided with a Return Authorisation Notice detailing how to proceed with your return. Goods will not be accepted without a valid Return Authorisation Notice. Please note: Faults with installed products should be reported to the appropriate manufacturer. Returns will not be accepted where the fault is caused by incorrect installation, modification, normal wear and tear, inappropriate cleaning, user/third- party damage or where a product has been used outside the manufacturer guidance/ specifications. Unwanted Goods Returns As a business customer, you may only return goods that are unopened, in their original condition and can be sold again “as new”. The return request must be made within 14 working days from the date of purchase. This right to return does not apply to special orders, obsolete stock or price deals. Carrier customers should arrange for the return of the goods and are responsible for any costs. A charge will be applied for Barco van collections. A restocking fee will apply. You will be advised of these costs when arranging your return. All products must be adequately packed, without marking the original packaging. Unwanted items which are unsuitable for re-sale will not be accepted. When the goods have been received and confirmed “as new”, the original cost will be refunded, excluding fees and carriage charges.

Faulty Goods Returns » » Installed Products: Faults should be reported directly to the manufacturer. A list of applicable contact numbers can be found at the back of the Barco Price Book. For further assistance, please contact our returns team. » » Items not installed: Faulty goods must be returned within the warranty period. Dependent on the manufacturer’s policy, the item will be repaired or replaced. Following the return: » » Repairable Products: If the manufacturer repairs the product, it will be returned to you free of charge. » » Irreparable Products: A replacement product will be provided free of any charges. Please see the full Barco Returns Policy for guidance on short deliveries, incorrect product deliveries, goods lost in transit & late deliveries at barco.net/terms The cost of returning faulty goods is the responsibility of the customer. The refund of reasonable delivery costs is at the discretion of Barco Sales Ltd. Please note that where the fault is found to have been caused by accident, neglect, misuse or incorrect installation, no refund or replacement will be issued, and a charge for administration and return to customer delivery costs will be charged. Taurus Guarantee/Warranty » » Our liability under this guarantee excludes, in particular, consequential loss direct or indirect including but not limited to wasted time, materials and expenditure or loss of use, profit, production, revenue, expected savings or goodwill. » » This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights. » » The guarantee period lasts for a single continuous period from the date of delivery to the customer from Barco. » » Original proof of purchase(s) must be shown for any claim under this guarantee. » » This guarantee does not cover any products that have been modified, altered or transformed in any way. » » This guarantee applies to an original installation in accordance with our fitting instructions and does not cover previously installed products that have been moved from their original installation position or location for any reason. » » This guarantee applies only to manufacturing or material defects. It does not apply to normal wear and tear, accidental damage, inappropriate use/installation (including inappropriate cleaning), failure to follow any recommended instructions, damage from lime-scale or water content or other events outside of Barco’s control. » » If a product is deemed to be of faulty manufacture Barco will, at their discretion replace or repair the product.
