Established in 1973, Pave-Aways Ltd has grown from its rural Shropshire roots into a leading regional building contractor, delivering projects across Shropshire, Mid and North Wales, and surrounding counties, while staying true to the values that shaped it. Delivering projects across education, healthcare, commercial, residential and community sectors, Pave-Aways helps shape the places where people learn, work, live and come together. Teamwork is the thread running through it all, with experienced hands sharing knowledge, apprentices building skills, and people taking pride in work that stands the test of time. Safety and sustainability are the cornerstones of this approach, shaping how Pave- Aways delivers projects, supports its team and leaves lasting value in the communities it helps to build. Looking after its workforce Recognising that supporting its team meant going beyond business as usual after the Covid- 19 pandemic, Pave-Aways made workforce opportunity and wellbeing a clear priority. The ‘Looking After Our Workforce’ initiative brought that commitment to life by keeping more projects regional, reducing time spent travelling, and investing in the people behind the work. It strengthened wellbeing support, opened clearer routes into training, apprenticeships, T-Level placements and career progression, and took the Pave-Aways story into schools and colleges through site tours and careers talks from people at every level of the business. Built on the practical belief to ‘grow your own and keep your own’, the initiative is
