Redmayne 1860

From its workshops in London and Cumbria, Redmayne 1860 represents a rare balance of heritage and forward thinking in modern tailoring. Established over 160 years ago, the business has been reshaped in recent years under the direction of CEO Claire Mahon, guiding its evolution into a contemporary bespoke tailoring house with a growing international presence. Since taking over the company in 2018, Claire has led a period of sustained growth, expanding Redmayne’s reach well beyond the UK. The United States has become a key market, supported by regular visits to key cities, including Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta and Los Angeles. This ability to serve clients globally, without compromising the principles of traditional British craftsmanship, has become a defining feature of the firm. Run alongside Master Tailor and Head Cutter, Tom Mahon, Redmayne has adopted an open and modern approach, using social media to offer a genuine insight into the craft. With a following of over 80,000, the business has built a strong connection with a wider audience while maintaining its traditional values. Together, they have developed a young and capable team, with a clear focus on training and securing the future

of bespoke tailoring beyond its traditional London base. Alongside this, the business has made significant operational investments, including the purchase of larger premises, reflecting a long-term and considered approach to growth. In 2026, Redmayne 1860 was awarded the King’s Award for Enterprise for International Trade, recognising its success in taking British tailoring to a global audience. While the business continues to grow internationally, its foundations remain unchanged: a commitment to craftsmanship, personal service, and an uncompromising approach to quality.

RJM International

RJM International is proud to be a recipient of The King’s Award for International Trade, which recognises the considerable growth in export sales that the company has achieved over the last three years. Based in Winchester, Hampshire, with regional offices in Cork, Ireland; Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia; Singapore; and Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, RJM is a specialist, global provider of products and services focused on the energy sector. Its wide-ranging capabilities are centred on reducing carbon emissions, harmful pollutants and improving the overall performance of all types of combustion plant. RJM’s customers include large utility-scale power stations, smaller biomass- fired or Energy from Waste power plants as well as industrial sites, including steelworks, refineries, sugar processors, paper mills and district heating schemes. No matter what the fuel, the firing configuration or the size of the plant, RJM will develop an innovative, engineering-based solution that enables the plant to operate more reliably and efficiently, with greater MWe outputs and yet combine those uplifts with reduced emissions of NOx, dust, CO – and increasingly CO 2 . Today, as generators and energy users are implementing strategies to achieve low-to-zero

emissions of CO 2 , they frequently need external support to enable them to do so. For example, RJM is working in the USA and Spain enabling power plants to convert from coal to gas, using its newly designed and engineered RJM Ultra-Low NOx CleanAir Burners™. These burners are ‘hydrogen-enabled’ to ensure additional plant longevity. In Turkey, Asia-Pacific and Australia, RJM is providing technologies and products to enable conventional coal-fired plants to operate more efficiently with lower emissions. In addition, in Malaysia, RJM is providing coal-to-biomass conversion knowledge to enable generators to replace a proportion of their input fuel with biomass. This is technically challenging

but delivers a significant reduction in carbon emissions. In Kosovo, RJM is part of a consortium to reduce emissions at that country’s only major power plant. Firing lignite, the plant is a significant polluter, but RJM technology and engineering expertise is now bringing emissions down to EU limits and increasing the generating output of the plant.
