Express Merchants Ltd
MV.Health
Founded in Northern Ireland in 2017, Express Merchants developed Breeze: Procure with Ease® to solve a long-standing challenge within facilities management procurement. Designed specifically for reactive ‘tail-spend’ purchasing, Breeze enables engineers and operational teams to source materials and services quickly whilst maintaining governance, visibility and compliance. The platform connects users to a network of pre-approved suppliers across the UK and Ireland, allowing purchase orders to be raised in under a minute, with proof of collection or delivery uploaded in real time and linked directly to jobs, sites and contracts.
Founded in 2014, MV.Health is a trusted global leader in clinical grade medical devices, transforming urological and gynaecological health. Historically, the stigma and fear of invasive clinical procedures have deterred men from seeking proactive prostate care. MV.Health’s breakthrough Molto device fundamentally shifts this paradigm by making
MV.Health’s Molto device delivers evidence-based at- home prostate care
targeted, evidence-based prostate health management highly accessible from the comfort and privacy of home. Backed by rigorous clinical trials and published in leading medical journals, Molto provides vital, non- pharmacological relief for conditions like chronic prostatitis and delayed ejaculation, ultimately restoring patient confidence and daily comfort. Driven by a mission to break the silence surrounding uro/gyn health, MV.Health’s doctor-designed devices have won 60 awards and improved the lives of more than 250,000 patients worldwide. By empowering individuals to safely and privately manage their health at home, MV.Health is driving early clinical intervention, improving systemic healthcare economics, and ultimately reducing the long-term risks associated with prostate conditions. Breeze was created from first-hand industry experience and developed in direct response to inefficiencies faced daily by engineers, procurement teams and FM providers. By improving efficiency, reducing unnecessary travel, increasing visibility, and enabling independent local suppliers to access large FM supply chains that were traditionally difficult for SMEs to enter, the platform is helping to reshape procurement practices across the facilities management sector.

Ionix Advanced Technologies Ltd
Ionix Advanced Technologies has been honoured with a King’s Award for Enterprise for Innovation 2026 in recognition of its HotSense sensing platform, based on its proprietary high- performance piezoelectric (HPZ) materials. A spin out from the University of Leeds in 2011, Ionix has spent over a decade engineering sensing technology that operates where conventional instrumentation fails. The HotSense platform delivers continuous, real-time ultrasonic measurement at temperatures from -200 to +600 °C, under high pressure, and in explosive and radioactive atmospheres. At the heart of the platform is HPZ, a patented piezoelectric ceramic designed to maintain electro-mechanical performance under extreme conditions. Piezoelectric materials – which convert electrical impulses into mechanical movement and sound, and vice versa – are familiar from medical ultrasound, naval SONAR and parking sensors. Ionix’s HPZ extends that same physics into the harshest industrial settings. Unlike conventional inspection methods, which typically require plant shutdowns, scaffolding or temporary instrumentation, HotSense operates continuously in-service. Deployed by hand, by robotic platforms, or as fixed-point installations, it gives operators real- time process control and structural health data.
“Receiving this Award is a defining moment,” says Tim Stevenson, Chief Executive Officer. “This recognition reflects years of advanced materials research, relentless engineering, and a clear commercial

conviction to improve the resilience and operational efficiency of the world’s critical infrastructure.” Ionix’s HPZ materials have also been adopted by major industrial measurement and control providers. The recently-launched TRND intelligent monitoring system extends HotSense into a turnkey precision corrosion and erosion monitoring solution, while the XLF family of lead-free piezoelectric materials prepares OEMs for tightening global regulations on lead-based materials. Ionix remains committed to West Yorkshire, with the recent inauguration of its Centre of Excellence for extreme environment sensing and ongoing expansion of advanced materials manufacturing in Leeds. During a recent visit, Chancellor Rachel HotSense ultrasonic sensor payload de- ployed on to a remotely operated crawler for corrosion surveys at high-temperature.
Reeves noted: “Businesses like Ionix showcase the great potential that Britain has to lead in sectors such as advanced manufacturing.” IONIX ADVANCED TECHNOLOGIES LTD Lynthorne House, Intercity Way, Leeds, LS13 4LQ Tel: +44 (0)113 512 6070 • contact@ionix.at www.ionix.at Ionix- Advanced -Technologies HotSense ultrasonic sensors deployed onto a UAV for unmanned inspection of high-temperature chimney stacks.
