Debbie Mohr, President and Executive Director of the Angel Embrace Network, explained the inspiration behind the program. “Our mother loved her dolls, and they brought her comfort during her battle with Alzheimer’s. After seeing how much these dolls helped her and other residents, we knew we had to share that comfort with others. That’s how Angel Embrace was born.”

During the adoption ceremony, the Angel Embrace team arrived with wagons filled with baby dolls, balloons, and

cookies, creating a festive atmosphere. Residents were moved to tears, many immediately cradling and caring for their new dolls as if they were real babies. “It was the best moment of my 31-year career,” Kimberly remarked. “This experience will bring long-term comfort to our residents.” Angel Embrace’s mission of love and support continues to grow, and they provide these dolls
