Thomas and Frank Conway; five sisters-in-law: Verline Juanita Guillory, Mary Wilma Angel, Ethel Dorsey, Gloria Vallien and Theresa Muwwakkil; two nieces: Gwendolyn Marie Angel and Moneta Andre’ Vallien-Mercadel; and three nephews: Joseph Russell Angel, Jr., Blane Holliman and Don Anthony Vallien. Brother Morrison leaves to mourn and still cherishing his memory, four chil- dren: Latonia Denise Morrison-Frank, Robert Louis Morrison, II, Ernie Thad- deus Angel and Cathy Maria Guillory- Bobb; two sons-in-law: Hilton Frank and Justin Bobb; five grandchildren: Jon Francis Bobb, Olivia Juanita Bobb, Kendrick Frank, Courtney Frank and Jametra Frank; one sister, Ruby Conway; three brothers-in-law: Andrew Vallien, Charles Noble and Yusuf Muwwakkil; two sisters-in-law: Audrey Noble and Theresa Vallien; and a host of relatives and friends. 7, 1935 in Mer Rouge, Louisiana. He graduated valedictorian of Our Lady Help of Christians High School in Bastrop, LA. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Secondary Educa- tion from Grambling State University (formerly known as Grambling College of Louisiana) and Master of Education Degree in Secondary Education from Southern University. During his stay at Grambling State University, he played basketball and became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity (Gamma Psi). He and his teammates won the Midwest Athletic Conference Associa- tion Championship (MWAC, ‘57-‘58) and were undefeated champions in the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC, ’58-’59) ending the ’58-’59 season with 30 wins and 0 losses. He was drafted in the US Army Provost Marshall Corps/Criminal Investiga- tion Division as Military Police from 1959 – 1962 serving in Italy. During this period, he was a member of the profes- sional Verona Royals Post basketball team and the Military Police Company basketball team of which they won the championship in ’61 and ’62. He was honorably discharged in 1962 from the US Army Provost Marshall Corps/Crimi- nal Investigation Division. In 1970, he attended the Federal Bureau of Inves- tigation Academy in Washington, D.C. and Quantico, VA where he graduated as a Special Agent. He received the “Letter of Commendation” from J. Edgar Hoover. His years of service included a 40-year span in education in the areas of teach- ing, coaching and administration at J. S. Clark High School, Opelousas High II, Port Barre High School, Opelousas High School, Leonville High School, Northeast Elementary and East Junior High. A Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi ® , Morrison was also a member of the Opelousas Louisiana Alumni Chapter of Opelousas, Louisiana in St. Landry Par- ish where he resided until his passing. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Laura Belle Morrison, of 48 years; his parents; James and Rosie Lee Mor-

his earthly home. He was born on September 21, 1947 to Howard Iles and Thelma Myers Iles, in Haines City, FL. Brother Iles grew

up in Ocala, FL where he graduated from Howard High School. He received a degree in Electronics from Tuskegee University, in Tuskegee, AL in 1969. In 1970, he married Bertha Ann Adam’s of Lake Wales, FL. That union produced a son, Kevin H. L. Iles and a daughter, Aisha F. Lewis (Enos). Brother Iles spent his professional career working at IBM and Florida Power & Light, retiring in 2003. He was in- volved in several community groups and initiatives but his pride and joy, was his affiliation with Kappa Alpha Psi Frater- nity Inc. As a member of the West Palm Beach (FL) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, Brother Iles served in many capacities, including being a previous Polemarch. He was also the President of the local branch of the NAACP. Brother Iles was a 1976 initiate of the West Palm Beach (FL) Alumni Chapter, of Kappa Alpha Psi.
