Army Navy Country Club COVID19 Response 3.30.21

CHAIRMAN AND GM MESSAGE 12 D ECEMBER 2020

Dear Member,

As you are by now aware, Governor Northam has increased COVID - 19 restrictions due to the growing number of cases in Virginia and the DMV. The entire Executive Order can be found by clicking here.

Some of the highlights that effect the Club are:

- As of Monday, 14 December, social gatherings of more than ten people are prohibited. This includes both indoor and outdoor activities. - Masks are always required indoors, unless consuming food and beverage and masks are required out- doors if a gathering cannot remain socially distanced (6 feet apart). - All restaurant operations will close no later than 10:00 PM. Alcohol service and the consumption of alco- hol is prohibited after 10:00 PM. The House Committee wishes to remind members that the restaurant spaces are for dining and socializing and not intended for “ business meetings ” of more than 8 people that may take away dining space or be disruptive to other members when dining. Restaurant operations for the remainder of the month will remain essentially as they have been. This means con- tinuing restrictions on indoor dining capacity, continued ‘ To - Go ’ meals and Butcher Shop service. Our upcoming holiday events will be unaffected. Both the Arlington and Fairfax clubhouse operations will be closed from 1 - 13 January, reopening on 14 January. Stars and Stripes in Arlington and the Pavilion on the Green in Fairfax will remain open with limited hours of operation during this time period. Fitness and indoor tennis will remain open under the current restrictions. Fitness will be expanding weekday hours beginning 2 January 2021. The new hours will be 6:00 AM – 7:00 PM Monday – Friday and 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM Saturday and Sunday. The past nine months have shown how much we value the opportunity to utilize the Club ’ s facilities and services during the pandemic. We look forward to more “ normal days ” and ask that you please continue to follow the rules which will help ensure we remain in compliance with Virginia ’ s mandates, allow us to remain safe and keep the Club open. Thank you for your support and dedication to your Club. Together, we move forward, in compliance with Virginia ’ s mandates, to keep both the Club open and to keep us safe.

May you and your family have a safe and happy holiday season.
