1. If you are sick, or think you might be, then you must stay home. 2. If you have been in contact with someone who is confirmed to have had the virus at the time of your contact, then you must self - quarantine for 14 days after contact. At the very least, please avoid the Club during that time. In other words, if you play in a golf foursome and two days later you learn that the virus has stricken one of the other golfers, then you should self - quarantine for 12 more days. 3. You must practice social distancing. 4. You must obtain a mask. You must wear the mask when a) you are indoors at the Club, b) when you are in a situation in which social distancing is impractical, or c) when common sense dictates. You might know that a mask does a little to help you, but it does so much more to help others. Some will say, “ I can ’ t wear a mask and eat or drink. ” Nevertheless, you won ’ t be eating or drinking indoors during Phase 1. If you dine outdoors, and come inside to use the lavatory, put on a mask. The same goes for picking up food orders at Stars and Stripes, or coming into the golf or tennis shops. Please put on a mask. While we have not applied the temporary rules to members previously, with guests coming on the property and increased social gathering, these temporary rules are necessary. As you may have observed, we were determined to keep as much open as possible, and we are now determined to open up as much as possible. Until now, we have acted only in accordance with the directions or guidance issued by the Federal, State, and Local Authorities. Moving forward, our actions will meet these standards, or in some case exceed them when doing so is required for our own particular circumstances.
These four temporary rules are real and they will be enforced.
While the rules will go into effect with the start of Phase 1 (hopefully in a week), we strongly encourage you to guide yourself by these rules in the meantime.
Nevertheless, the primary enforcement mechanism may be that if we cannot collectively abide by the Phase 1 temporary rules, then we may have to roll back our operations, or we may simply not be in a position to proceed with opening additional activities in Phase 2. Finally, many have asked about the ANCC Foundation Staff Support Fund. As an update, through your generosity, the Foundation has raised over $115,000 and issued over $85,000 in grants to over 100 of our employees. We thank the ANCC Foundation for its efforts, and we thank you for your generosity.
Thank you for your continued support of your Club during these unprecedented times.
