Army Navy Country Club COVID19 Response 3.30.21

CHAIRMAN AND GM MESSAGE 30 JUNE 2020

Dear Members,

The Governor has announced that Northern Virginia will begin Phase 3 on Wednesday, 1 July. This letter states the Club ’ s Phase 3 plans.

First, our temporary rules will remain in effect. If you are sick, stay home. If you have been in contact with a coronavirus patient, then stay home for 14 days after contact. Practice social distancing, which means 10 feet of distance from others when exercising, otherwise maintain 6 feet. If you are indoors, wear a mask, unless you are actually sitting at your assigned indoor table for the general purpose of eating or drinking. Pulling your shirt collar over your mouth is not a mask. We will continue to post signs to this effect. Your use of the reservation system certifies your compli- ance with these rules for yourself and your guests. Your attendance on campus similarly certifies your compliance. Staff will not serve anyone in violation of the rules. And, while violations of these rules are rare, rest assured that we will enforce them when brought to our attention. You might consider that some touchpoints will increase the risk of contagion as people gather around them, and many are uncomfortable with touching objects that other people have touched. As you will see, the changes that we are making in Phase 3 will increase the number of optional in- tentional touchpoints, but we are not increasing the mandatory touchpoints. Keep in mind that we may not have the staff to serve all these changes immediately, but here are the changes that Phase 3 will bring. 1. Clubhouse We will continue to require masks and social distancing while in the Clubhouse as previously stat- ed.Lockers and toilets are available. Showers, saunas, and steam rooms will remain temporarily closed. As for showers, they are under further review. Fitness We will offer personal training and physical therapy with social distancing.Online classes will continue, and we will be phasing in in - person group classes with 10 feet distancing and a maximum of 6 participants per class.Phase 2 restrictions on equipment will continue in Phase 3.
