registered 12 . Compared with August 2024, the number of rental units registered increased 19.6%. Using a 12-month moving average 4 , there were 2,083 rental units registered 5 in August, trending at a 1.1% increase from July. Using a 36-month moving average 4 , there were 1,649 rental units registered 5 in August, which is a 1.0% increase from July. There were 19 rental buildings registered 5 in August. Most of these were buildings of 5 to 50 units (42.1%) and buildings of more than 100 units (36.8%). The largest building of 200 units was proposed to be built in Vancouver. In August, Vancouver (711), Langford (219) and Port Moody (128) had the largest number of rental units registered 5 in B.C.
