Uninews TorVergata #generazioni

«Hi, I’m Kengne Ursule, a 24-year-old Physiotherapy student at Dschang University. Through the K171 program, I had my first European experience at Tor Vergata University during my internship. Interacting with students from different countries was enriching. It facilitated discussions on language learning, patient diagnosis, Physiotherapy services, and cultural exchange».

1.What was your most significant moment during your time at Tor Vergata University, and how did it influence your personal development? «My most significant moment was the first day we went to the hospital to meet the staff of the physiotherapy unit, especially Professor Calogero Foti. The way they received us was simply wonderful. They were very humble and welcoming, and I truly appreciated that». 2.How did you handle the challenges related to life abroad, such as language barriers, adapting to a new culture, and being away from family and friends? «I faced a few challenges with the Italian language because, before traveling, I had only learned a bit of it. Fortunately, our supervisors primarily spoke English to ensure clear communication among us.

Adapting to the culture wasn’t too difficult because my environment was always supportive. While I did feel sad at times due to being physically distant from my family, I understood it was for a good cause, and I was eager to gain new experiences». 3.What skills have you acquired or strengthened through the Erasmus+ experience, and how do you think you can use them in the future? «A skill I have strengthened during my experience with the Erasmus+ Program is the rehabilitation and

reconditioning of the pelvic floor for women with pelvic floor disabilities. I aspire to specialize in this field in the future». 4.How would you evaluate your relationship and interaction with the professors at Tor Vergata University during the internship, and how has this collaboration contributed to your professional development? «My interaction with the professors at Tor Vergata University was very smooth. I could easily approach them for any situation, and I am very thankful for all they did for me during that program. I’m grateful for the Erasmus+ Program because it has not only allowed me to have a new academic experience but also to enrich myself personally».
