PROGRAM GUIDE Winter 2025 LEMONT PARK DISTRICT
Dear Lemont Park District Community,
What a wonderful year it has been! The District has made great strides on projects and we’re excited to see them come to fruition.
Athens Park in Downtown Lemont is taking shape and is scheduled to be completed and open to the public in the Spring of 2025. Miracle Field’s renovation is nearly complete, and we are excited to begin programming and use in Spring of 2025. The upcoming projects proposed through the referendum, are steps towards realizing our shared vision for a vibrant and inclusive community. We are diligently finalizing plans and aiming to commence construction for portions of the work in late 2025. Visit our website for more information as it becomes available. As winter begins to set in, make sure to continue to stay active! The indoor walking track is FREE to residents. This is the last couple of months for NO enrollment fee for new members at The CORE! We have some pieces of new fitness equipment, a refinished Trackside Room for specialty fitness classes, and updates to The CORE locker rooms. Stop by and try us out today! This winter guide brings a great lineup of some traditional events, including the Frigid 5K, Holi- Dazzle Home Decorating Contest, Senior Holiday Lunch, Noon Years Eve and Daughter Date Night! Try something NEW this season and check out the Line Dancing Class, Adult Pickleball Lessons, or one of the various new early child classes (listed on page 24). Be sure to register for the annual Quarryman Challenge 5K and 10-Mile race!
On behalf of the Lemont Park District Board of Commissioners and Staff, we look forward to seeing you Experiencing the Fun with us this season!
