SILAS MAXWELL WELCOME GROVE CHAROLAIS - MOSHEIM, TN
8/14/1932 – 7/1/2025
Silas was a tradition in Charolais in the Knoxville area! He raised, showed, and sold his Charolais cattle in both the Appalachain Classic and the Southern Connection sales for many years. He also participated in many other regional and national Charolais Events for over 30 years! Many times, in his career he helped FFA and 4-H members to provide and help them obtain Charolais cattle to show and to help promote the breed! He was a leader in the Mountain Empire Charolais Association, the Livestock Association, and a member and board member of the American International Charolais Association. He was well known and admired for his dedication, resilience, and kindness to all people! We were truly blessed to be a small part of his time!
