Are you an active individual looking to make the most of the spring and summer months? Elite PT is excited to announce that we will be offering free injury-prevention screens on

March 20th for all WCC members. This assessment will proactively identify issues that could potentially lead to an injury during your valued active lifestyle. Our experienced physical therapist, Kyle Hughes PT, DPT will assess your flexibility, strength deficiencies, and postural alignment. After his assessment is complete, he will provide you with useful exercises tailored to meet your specific needs and decide whether additional physical therapy care may be beneficial for you. Call (302) 477-1536 to schedule your 15-minute screen while availability lasts! Located inside the club’s gym, Elite PT currently offers physical therapy treatment to all WCC members on Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays. TIPS FOR BETTER SLEEP • Sleep-promoting lifestyle enhancements • Make lists to keep you organized so you don’t forget anything. • Before bed, breathe deeply, in through your nose and into your belly for five minutes to calm your mind and lower your heart rate. • While breathing, visualize yourself performing at your best. • Avoid bright light in the evening (that includes the light from cellphones, laptops etc.); it can inhibit melatonin production by sending alerting signals to the brain. • Keep your room cool, at about 65 degrees. Body temperature is tied to your sleep cycle, so if you’re too hot it can interfere with that cycle causing restlessness. • 7-9 hours of sleep are recommended.
