Introduction to Pilates Principals and Fundamentals Pilates is a series of floor-based exercises. Learn about body awareness: improve core strength, alignment, coordination, flexibility of shoulders and hips, and balance. Pilates develops the body uniformly, corrects poor posture and improves breathing techniques. This exercise method is suitable for people of all body types and fitness abilities. Pilates should not be done exclusively; it should complement your yoga practice, sports (golf, tennis, paddle, squash) and cardiovascular workouts. SERP GROUP EXERCISE CLASS
