• The SGC’s marquee events—the Finance and Accounting Fair (Sept. 8) and the Technology Career Fair (Sept. 9)—drew hundreds of YU students ready to network with industry professionals from top organizations to secure full-time jobs as well as career-building intern- ships. Among the participating organizations were Goldman Sachs, JPMorganChase, KPMG, BlackRock, Amazon, IBM and Warner Bros. Discovery. Getting Career-Ready The Shevet Glaubach Center (SGC) kicked off September with a series of high-energy programs, where students laid the groundwork for real-world careers and learned what it takes to build a professional brand in a competitive job market.

Y U Scholars Attend Premier Forum on Jewish Studies From Aug. 4–8, YU faculty, students and alumni participated in the 19th World Congress of Jewish Studies at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the field’s largest international gathering. Held every four years, the conference brings together more than 1,000 scholars from leading universities and institutes to present new research and exchange ideas across the breadth of Judaic Studies. Among the presenters was Dr. Ephraim Kanarfogel, E. Billi Ivry University Professor of Jewish History, Literature and Law at Bernard Revel Graduate School and Stern College for Women. ins and outs of the law school application process and learn about select events scheduled throughout the academic year. • YU’s future health care professionals joined forces at the New Student Pre-Health Orientation (Sept. 10). Up for discussion were the resources and strategies needed to pursue a career in health care.

A Warm Welcome to Our New Faculty Members This fall, the University welcomes 32 new full-time faculty members across undergraduate and graduate programs for the 2025–2026 academic year. Among them are Dr. Rebecca Chalme, clinical assistant professor of psychology at Stern College and Yeshiva College, who completed postdoctoral work at Columbia University, and James Macleod, professor of law at Cardozo, who previously directed Brooklyn Law School’s Center for Law, Language and Cognition. • English majors had a chance to pick the brains of notable YU alumni in Plot Twist: Life after English (Sept. 10), an illuminating panel discussion exploring how English degrees can be a springboard for career success in a range of fields. • Prelaw students connected with adviser Dr. Ariella Suchow at Pizza and Prelaw Orientation (Sept. 10–11) to discuss the
