DWP statement indicates start of pensions dashboards connections Published: 26 March 2024 Emailed: 27 March 2024
In a step towards the successful roll out of pensions dashboards, the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has released a statement providing details on progress being made this year.
They state:
“ Subject to satisfactory testing, the programme plans to begin the process of connecting the organisations building a direct connection, including DWP State Pension, from August 2024. Connection testing will then continue to ensure readiness to support wide r industry connection from early 2025.”
This will start the path for approximately 3,000 pension schemes in scope to be connected by the current deadline of 31 October 2026. The first selection of large employers is expected to have connected by the end of April 2025.
