HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) has provided some useful resources to explain workplace tax reliefs to employees.

The promotional materials include intranet wording and posters that explain what reliefs workers may be entitled to. These include:

Additionally, there are help cards to make some onboarding processes easy to explain, including understanding the starter declaration form and the collection of personal details.

These resources may also help employees stay away from repayment agents who seek to keep a cut of relief refunds available and ensure that the full relief ends up in your employees’ pockets.

HMRC has published the P11D Working Sheets for tax year 2023 – 24

These forms are final versions of P11D Working Sheets for tax year 2023 to 2024. They have been created to be used by software developers to help with development of their payroll software. However, as payroll professionals, they are a helpful tool to refer to.
