One of the loveliest compliments I have ever received was something my granddaughter, Jessica said to her cousin, Lauren. Jessica called her when she came home from a tough semester at college. She called to tell her she was physically and mentally overworked, and not having a good time socially as well. When Lauren had listened to all her cousin’s troubles she simply said, “Talk to Nana and Papa, and everything will be all right.” My mother was the most supportive person for me from my childhood until the day she died. She did that for me, it is wonderful to realize that I can do it for my grandchildren.
