Q . Long Beach, Calif. — “A fter a Christian dies and goes to he with the Lord, is his soul in some kind of a body until Christ comes to take His Church home?” A. No one knows the answer to this. It is certainly hard to conceive of a disembodied spirit. No doubt there is an intermediate body for the saints who die in the Lord before the translation spoken of in I Corin thians 15:1-5, 8, and I Thessalonians 4:13-18. our Saviour. They are known, and they also know. They can see the face and the person of Jesus Christ. What a glorious day it will be when we’re re-united with our loved ones, all in our new immortal bodies, around the throne of God. Some think this battle-inva-
