perfect work of redemption, without Christ triumphing over death in the resurrection. There can be no com pleted salvation, and no victorious Christian living apart from the pow er demonstrated and made available to us today by the risen Christ. This is a supernatural event beyond the scope our minds can tell. Neverthe less it’s a reality. The resurrection of Christ gives us a preview of the future. If this isn’t the hope of the world, with suf fering and despair the order of the day, it certainly should be! It’s the answer to every person who trusts in the living Saviour. The one who has a physical problem, a crippled body ravaged by disease, can look forward to a glorious body likened unto Christ’s. All oppressed by hatred, tyranny, and prejudice can look to this magnificient program of the fu ture, jointly shared through trust in the risen Christ. "In Christ shall all be made to live.” What a mag nificient hope to oppressed mankind, for righteousness, peace, joy! This is all attested, verified, and guaran teed by the glorious fact of the res urrection, Are you trusting in this risen Christ? He is available to you today!

Life’s evening will take its color from the day that preceded it.

"He who is the Bread of Life began His ministry hungering. He who is the Water of Life ended His ministry thirsting. Christ hun gered as a man, and fed the hungry as God. He was weary, and yet He is our Rest. He paid tribute, yet He is the King. He was called a devil, yet cast out devils. He prayed and yet He hears prayer. He wept, and He dries our tears. He is led as a lamb to the slaughter, and is the Good Shepherd. He dies, and gives His life, and by dying destroys death.”
