Paula’s Corner The end of the year is approaching and during these times people tend to look back and question themselves. What did I accomplish? or one may feel, I should be further in life or my work. At times, we look at our vision and give up because there is no manifestation of the hard work & dedication we put into our vision. Have you ever said to yourself, “maybe that vision was not meant for me or it's just not my time”? I encourage you to dream again! Allow your mind and heart to revisit those visions in your life you thought were gone. Only you know that vision inside of you that keeps you up early mornings or will not allow you to sleep at night because you are up writing down ideas & thoughts, allowing the vision to leap inside of you. Sometimes the vision is so great, it may seem outrageous to accomplish. If you feel this way, you are on the right track to great things, and you can achieve your goals and vision. Just set your heart to it, maintain your goals in manageable sections to help you achieve all you desire throughout the year. Kind of like SG does with Rocks! Ask yourself, is it S.M.A.R.T.? Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely. "In oneself lies the whole world, and if you know how to look and learn, then the door is there and the key is in your hand. Nobody on earth can give you either that key or the door to open, except yourself."

Some Holiday Safety Tips from Our SG Maintenance Team! The Holidays are full of laughter, fun, love and family. But we also need to think of the safety of ourselves and others during this and every Holiday Season. In order to help you learn and prepare, we have compiled a list of some helpful tips and common safety issues that are seen during the Holiday Season:

Decorate the tree with your kids in mind; move ornaments that are breakable or have metal hooks toward the top Spraying artificial snow can irritate your lungs if inhaled; follow directions carefully Always use the proper step ladder; don't stand on chairs or other furniture Lights are among the best parts of holiday decorating; make sure there are no exposed or frayed wires, loose connections or broken sockets, and don't overload your electrical circuits Plants can spruce up your holiday decorating, but keep those that may be poisonous (including some Poinsettias) out of reach of children or pets; the national Poison Control Center can be reached at (800) 222-1222 Make sure paths are clear so no one trips on wrapping paper, decorations, toys, etc. Never leave burning candles unattended or sleep in a room with a lit candle Keep candles out of reach of children

Make sure candles are on stable surfaces Don't burn candles near trees, curtains or any other flammable items Don't burn trees, wreaths or wrapping paper in the fireplace Check and clean the chimney and fireplace area at least once a year Have a safe and fabulous Holiday!
