4. Make premium quality novelties, for sale in shops. For this to work, you need to be selling “ART” and not just a printed T-shirt, Mug etc. The images should be styled according to the theme of the store. If it’s a comic shop, you will need comic type characters, if it’s a gift shop, then birthday wishes and the like and so on, You can either buy art from online stock photo sites, or just use an AI Image generator (you can buy a yearly or lifetime subscription for far less than a stock photo site will request) and they will be truly unique (preventing anyone coming back to you later asking for royalties). The only downside here is that a shop won’t pay you until they’ve sold the item. 5. Take a colour change mug with an image relevant to the industry you all tackling with you to the prospective customer . When they ask you whether you want tea or coffee, just ask them for some hot water – this will already make them sit up and take notice (as it’s decidedly odd to just drink hot water), then tell them you want to use your own cup – this again will make everyone sit and take notice. When the hot water is poured into the colour change mug, and they start seeing the change, you’ve got them. All you need do now is nudge them a little to get the order. 65% of the sale has already been done by the mug. If you want to try and sell to a prospective customer and you believe that they are important enough to warrant it (or that the potential job volumes will be high enough), then nothing sells the product better that putting the customer’s logo / brand onto the product that you want to sell them on. You can do this with any product. A teddy bear with the customer’s logo on it for example works for any industry where their primary customer is a child or female. If you are going to make a sample with the customers logo / product on it, prior to you meeting them, try to get good quality images. Don’t rely on a low-resolution picture you get off the Internet, which prints poorly, as showing them a bad product will ensure you don’t get the order.
