McCULLOUGH Peacefully at the Champlain Residence on Wednesday July 11th, 2012 John McCullough of Fournier, ON, passed away at the age of 77. Beloved son of the late Mamie McCullough. John will be fondly remembered by his many relatives and friends for his big laugh and big heart. Visitation was held at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill, ON, on Monday July 16th, 2012 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service in the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Interment was in John’s hometown of Fournier, at the St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Madame Dianne Lacasse, née Ouellette, de Dalkeith, est décédée le mercredi 11 juillet 2012, à l’âge de 62 ans. Elle était la tendre épouse de feu Yvan Lacasse; La fille de feu Robert Ouellette et de Thérèse Gill; la mère bien-aimée de Stéphane (Brigitte Lessard), Chantale (Paul Carrière) et Sandra (Shaun Bédard); la grand-mère adorée de Stéphanie, Jennifer, Audrey, Rosalie, Amélie, Thomas, Patrick et Jason; la chère soeur de Jean- Guy (Lise), Marc (André-Anne), Claude, Monique (Rémi) et Carmen (Claude). Elle fut prédécédée par un petit-fils Kevin. Lui survivent également plusieurs, beaux-frères, belles-soeurs, oncles, tantes, cousins, cousines, neveux, nièces et amis. Liliane is survived by her five children: Christina (Bruce) Ransom, Suzanne (Blair Taker) Cunningham, Michael (Donna) Cunningham, Paul (Linda) Cunningham, and Pierre. She will be sadly missed by her eleven grandchildren: Tara (Jon), John (Stefanie), Shannon (Mike), Nick (Alex), Matthew (Heather), Sarah, Katie, Allie, Tom, Jameson and Erin. She also leaves dearest great- grandchildren: Kira, Kevin, Vincent and Brodie. A beauty queen pageant winner in 1949, Liliane was a sports enthusiast. She was a gymnast and competed in tennis and later played badminton and joined a bowling league. She was an ardent skier and she loved skiing the northern trails on weekends between Ste. Agathe and St. Sauveur. She married Arthur Cunningham in 1954. They were charter members of Glenmore Curling Club and later were members of Lachute Curling Club where she served as a director. Liliane loved to golf and was a long time member of Dunany Country Club. The word that best describes Liliane is passion. Her husband, family, friends, gardens, crafts and her faith were the focus of her life. She was active in many community services including the Argenteuil Health and Social Services Centre in Lachute. Funeral service will be held at Ste- Anastasie, 174, Bethany Avenue, Lachute, QC, 450 562-2432 on Saturday July 21 st at 11 a.m. The family will receive condolences at the church at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate your thoughts and remembrances as donations to the Unité de la Fontaine or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
