4.4 An in-depth look: Credas, Identitech, Validient, Wyser To better understand and evaluate the LegalTech start-up and scale-up ecosystem in Wales, we conducted interviews with Credas, Identitech, Validient and Wyser. The aim of the interviews was to learn more about (a) their experience of founding a LegalTech company in Wales, (b) the characteristics of their business, and (c) the environment in which they operate, including the benefits and challenges of entrepreneurship in Wales. a) Founding a LegalTech company in Wales For the four start-ups and scale-ups interviewed, the primary reason for choosing Wales as the headquarters was the presence of founders in Wales or, in the case of Wyser, the founder’s intention to move to Wales in the future.
