THE EXCEPTIONAL SMILES TEAM CONTINUED EDUCATION A RETURN TO IN-PERSON TRAINING

The staff is settling into our new, larger office space quite well. Though the move was just down the hall, it gave us an opportunity to revamp our setup and fine-tune our practices. Many of those practices include using the latest technology to give us highly individualized and comprehensive information that helps us achieve the best results for you and also decreases the amount of time you spend in the dental chair. Training and technology are key components to providing the best dentistry possible. Despite travel restrictions, our staff continued to be committed to ongoing education through virtual learning opportunities in 2020. But this year, we’re excited to get back to in-person training. We just wrapped up a trip to Las Vegas for a conference on Invisalign and dental aligners. It’s always great to get to learn from other top practitioners and exchange ideas with dental professionals from around the country about this awesome technology.

It integrates with our iTero 5D scanner. If that sounds fancy, that’s because it is quite a sophisticated piece of technology. But in the end, the digital imaging it produces helps us show you in a simple and clear way what’s going on inside your mouth. And, of course, it provides us with a lot of information as well. All that without any unnecessary exposure to radiation! We’re excited to see how this technology advances as well as how it can continue to serve our patients in our new space. While 5D imagining is valuable, we haven’t done away with 3D imaging altogether. Our ConeBeam CT scanner also made the move with us, and it continues to be a valuable piece of equipment for diagnostic imaging and treatment planning. If you’ve been in for a dental implant or root canal, you’re likely familiar with this technology. It’s a huge advancement over the old X-ray machines. It’s also a faster process for patients.

If you haven’t been into the new space yet, we’re eager to show you around. Of course, you can expect the same friendly staff and the best care as always.
